Marcia Milgate

After returning to Canada from studying abroad in France, Marcia stayed just long enough to obtain her Bachelor of Commerce Degree before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 1997 where she has lived and raised a family ever since. Marcia was introduced to Pilates more than 20 years ago and she was instantly hooked. In 2018, Marcia earned her BASI Global Comprehensive certification as well as a BASI Injuries and Pathologies certificate. She is presently studying for her Pre/Postnatal Movement through Pilates certificate. Through her years as an avid runner, she has had to battle several injuries and eventually 2 hip surgeries which has challenged her to find the right balance in her fitness routine which now includes Pilates, strength training, running and spinning. Marcia's personal experience with injury rehabilitation, as well as maintaining her fitness while raising 3 children gives her a unique persective and empathy for those dealing with similar issues. Maintaining an active lifestyle for her and her family is very important to Marcia and she believes that you should find an activity that you love and do it for life!

 Nicole Jacobs

Meet Nicole or “Nix” for short. Nix comes to us from South Africa and is a passionate advocate for holistic well-being through Pilates and Yoga.

She embarked on her journey as a Yoga instructor in 2018 and most recently completed her Pilates training after developing a deep affection for Pilates through some of her private client Yoga work. Both the practice of Pilates and Yoga compliment each other in many ways and her exposure to both disciplines gives her a unique perspective on the body.

During her time running her own studio in South Africa and teaching group and private classes, she dedicated herself to always providing a space in her studio where each person felt welcome and empowered to explore their well-being journey at their own pace.

Her approach is centred on guiding clients to move mindfully, synching their breath and body rhythm for a harmonious experience.

Join Nicole's Pilates classes or private sessions to experience the joy of mindful movement and unlock the potential Pilates can help provide moving you towards the path to a healthier, more balanced self.
